Restaurant Miyajimaguchi, would not look out of place almost anywhere in Japan. Its butt-sized stools; long, narrow dining space and delicious smells would be quite at home on the yummier streets of Osaka or Fukuoka. Still, the menu is distinctly local. It features Hiroshima delicacies like anchovy sashimi and a number of ways to serve oysters. You can also find dishes featuring conger eel and more kid friendly meals like tonkatsu donburi, fried pork cutlet on rice. Many serve theirs with egg, but Miyajimaguchi’s has a Worcestershire based sauce instead.They have an English menu for those that need them, and their meal sets are fairly reasonable by Japanese standards.
