Novices and experienced archers as young as four are welcome at Saiki International Archery Land where guests have the opportunity to enjoy a multitude of archery and woodland related activities. Try your hand at Kyudo, the ancient Japanese art of archery, or practice modern, recurve and compound archery. Archers can practice at an Olympic style range with movable targets or amble through a kilometer of wooded course taking down a dozen fixed targets. Experienced archers can freely explore both the target range and the course. However, new archers must take a 40 to 60 minute lesson before embarking upon
the woodland course. Guidance and training are provided by highly experienced instructors, some of whom competed at national and Olympic levels.

Saiki International Archery Land offers a wide range of activities besides archery including BBQ lunches, trout fishing, canoeing, and laser tag. They also have active learning workshops for large groups like companies, schools and clubs. In addition to teaching archery, these workshops help students build practical skills like forestry and bushcraft.

Adults can spend unlimited “Free Time” at the range and in the woodland course for 4,500 yen. University students get a 500 yen discount, and younger students are discounted 1,000 yen. The one hour Archery Experience and Kyudo Experience packages cost 2,500 yen and 4,000 yen respectively. Reservations are required for those who need English guides or who wish to include a BBQ lunch.
