If ever there was a time when curiosity met opportunity it would be here. Toshiro-San the man behind all handcrafted wood bowls, plates, cups crafted at Kinouta. He is a man of true generosity and shares a deep relationship to the wood he carves forms out of. His understanding of shape and his execution of simplicity is what makes him not just unique, but altogether a different kind of craft artisan. While some of his works are not exactly affordable for everyone, he does sell many beautiful handcrafted items you can take back home. I only get to say this once, if you can go, I strongly recommend it. You will kick yourself if you don’t.
