At first sight you may be taken by surprise by the obanzai, an array of traditional dishes layed out over the bar for guests to choose from. That shouldn’t stop you from experiencing this unique style of izakaya. Tomo prides itself on catching their own fish from all around Japan. However, the owners are the most special aspect of all. If you ask them to cook something a certain way, they will do it. They serve sake and traditional Japanese dishes, such as tempura, karaage, grilled fish and potato salad. Their sake line includes Hatsukaichi sake, like Misen, and others from around Hiroshima Prefecture as well.
