Saiko-ji Temple A Living 300-year-old Pine Gateway Across from Miyajima

Established in 1625.  This living pine tree archway is said to be over 300 years old, making a long arch gate to the entrance of the temple.  This area is along an old road and a lot of old traditional Japanese houses and historical shrines are left.  You can have a quiet nice walk around here feeling the real atmosphere of Japan.
